827 Fort Street Mall

Constructed in 1929, the C. Brewer Building is a beautiful, two-story, stone structure combining classic Mediterranean style with a “Hawaian” roof. From its inception until March 1998 (when C. Brewer moved its corporate offices to the Island of Hawaii) the building was occupied by the same firm. Following its award winning renovation by American Land Company, it became home to University of Phoenix Administrative Offices.

This elegant building was originally designed by New York architects Hardy Phillips and Bertram Goodhue. Location and esthetics make it a Honolulu landmark. Its traditional image and rich commercial history, as home of one of Hawaii’s big five companies, make it a desired location.
